Water, Gas or Oil

Early warning of water, gas or an oil leak is vital to avoid damage to systems and data and to minimise disruption and the financial costs associated with down time caused by such leaks. Comms rooms are particularly vunerable to water leaks and the Trace Tek system is a proven and reliable method of accurately detecting them. It has been successfully applied in commercial, industrial and environmental situations for over 20 years.

Trace Tek systems can be installed to suit the Client's requirements, from simple to complex schemes ranging from single-point leak detection to multi-point digital systems capable of monitoring 1500 metres of sensor cable and a network in excess of 125 remote Trace Tek modules. The system offers additional flexibility with options of remote panels, speech dialers and can be interfaced with building management systems (BMS) or connected to solenoid valves for remote switching and immediate isolation.

The sensor options available are, sensor cable, floor or wall mounted probes, immersion probes and float switches. Standard applications for the TT1000 water leak detection include:

• Computer rooms under raised floors
• Comms rooms
• Air-conditioning plant and equipment
• Pipe runs and drip trays
• Media storage areas
• Service voids

Remote panels can also give warning of damaged and/or contaminated sensors or cables. Contaminated cables can usually be cleaned and returned to service without undue delay.
